Here's a book I think AA should have a look at:

The Art and Science of Digital Compositing
by Ron Brinkman

It is truly excellent.
Written by a guy who's been in the industry for years and has done compositing
for films such as James and The Giant Peach and Speed.

If you have ever wanted to know more about how mattes and compositing works -
look no further. It is not a "light" book - treat it like a serious reference
book (cos thats what it is).

It explains probably all you would want to know about how images are stored by
computers - everything about colour matching, morphing, blue screen, green
screen, layering, mattes, composites, alpha channels etc etc.

If you have ever wondered what all those things like Matte, Composite, Xor,
Alpha etc mean in Photogenics, ImageFX or any other image processing programme -
then get this book. It explains it all. And then some.
